Amour Moi Pour Qui Je SuisThe_Secret_Garden: Le Rose' sans e'pine 2009/2/5 The Duchess: The Story of Georgiana SpencerI have had the good fortunate to be able to watch and videotape the BBC production of The Duchess that is based on the life of. Georgiana had two daughters and she also took care of The Duke's daughter by a mistress that had died. It was only the means of marital rape that Georgiana finally gave birth to their son, but due to the Duke's vile nature their son never married and had any children. However, through her daughters she had grandchildren and through her enfant de amour, Lady Eliza Courtney, she had Sarah Fergie. It from her brother that Lady Diana Spencer came through. Lady Eliza Courtney was raised by her paternal grandparents, and later she was to find out after Georgiana died. It was she found out who her parents were. Lady Georgiana died of cirrhosis of the liver at the age of 48 years old and Lady Elizabeth Foster became the next Duchess of Devonshire with Georgiana's blessing. This is one of the BBC's finest productions only next to their Emmy Award Winning TV Series based on the Life of Elizabeth the 1. Back in 1972. This movie is well worth seeing, taping to add to your films on English history. Unfortunately, The Duchess is only up for two Academy Awards, and it is not for Best Picture, or Best Actress., what a shame.
2009/1/1 HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009 HAPPY AND BLESSED 2009. MAY OUR LORD KEEP US SAFE AND KEEP US FROM THEEVIL HANDS OF OBAMA. GOD DELIVER US FROM THIS EVIL MAN. 2006/11/22 Why Do Mother's Cry
"Because I am a Mother," she told him "I don't understand," he said His mom just hugged him tightly and said, "You never will!" Later the boy asked his father why Mother seemed to cry for no reason. "All mothers cry for no reason," was all his Dad would say. The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why mothers cry. So he finally put in a call to God. When he got God on the phone the man asked, "God why do mothers cry so easily?" God said," You see, when I made mothers , they had to be special. I made their shoulders stronger enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort I gave them inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times come from their children. "I gave them a hardiness that allows them to keep going on when everyone else gives up, and to take care of their families through sickness and fatigue without complaining." I gave them the sensitivity to love their children under all circumstances, even when the child has hurt them very badly. The same sensitivity helps them to make a child's boo-boo feel better, and helps them share a teenagers anxieties and fears." "I gave them a tear to shed. It's theirs exclusively to use whenever it's needed. It is their only weakness. It's a tear for humankind."
I can not take credit for this lovely poem which I dedicate to all "True and Natural" Mothers who have their children to Child Protective Services and later Their Parental Rights . June14baby1955 2006/11/14 How Can They Understand Us
Please don't take my child away from me. Give me a chance to be a mother. Don't judge us because we are disabled, black, white, yellow, or red. Give us what we need to keep our children with us so they don't become a lost child or a throw away child because they can't live up to their adopter's expectations. Please don't make us make the choice between our husbands, wives, and children and we choose our spouse we will lose our children. Adoption is a vile act and vile act that makes millions of children dysfunctional each year with adoptive child syndrome. Give us the "true and natural" parents a chance to raise our children. Don't judge us because we are poor, ecomonically disadvantaged, disabled. God does not approve of adoption, he never meant to have families separated. Give the "true and natural parents the ones created by God and Nature a chance to raise our children and dont' turn our children in paper orphans. Widow By The Lake
2006/8/10 We got High Speed InternetWe finally got high speed interent. It took Comcast two times to come out here.

I am still looking for work part time.
Lucie 2006/6/3 Weekend Blog for June 3, 2006Well this is Saturday night at 11:24 PM central daylight time. Today I woke up late, had to wash clothes. The laundry mat as usual was full of Hispanics and Afro-Americans who only wash their clothes once a month. I usually get up at 8 AM, get to the laundry mat by 8:30 AM and am out by 10:30 AM but not today. I didn't get out of the laundry mat until 12:45 PM. I really haven't been on line until now. I tried to watch on Sci-Fi Channel John Carpenter's/Stephen King's Christine I can say it did not follow Stephen King's book whatsoever. The only TV adaptation that is true to the book form is Ray Bradbury's Something Wicked This Way Comes. Although produced by Walt Disney Production it is excellent.
Christine the novel is in three parts, One Part is about Ernie's best friend, part two is about Ernie, he is a dork who turns cool because of Christine and part the three is about Christine who is a possessed 1958 red and white fury.
She is like any female jealous. That old saying " Pay back coming from a bitch is a bitch, is true.

garden." 2006/5/31 Upate On Historical RomanceWhat have I been up too lately? First of all, I have been working
diligently on my Historical Romance Je
Volonté Attendre Pour Vous. I will have to write some
of this in French to make more sense. I need to buy a French dictionary I can
use with everything.
My Historical Romance is in English/French.
I have been cleaning up some today because tomorrow is pay day, I have to
take my ass out pay bills for the next couple of days.
The weekend will be busy. Frank and I am leaving for McDonough Georgia on
Monday Afternoon. We are staying in McDonough for a week. We will be back June
12.
We are going to go see the Henry Players musical play The Secret
Garden.
I am planning to publish my Historical Romance Je Volonté Attendre
Pour Vous over on one of my websites. I am sure that the publisher will not
allow me to print all the pictures so at least on my website you will be able to
see all the illustrations that go with my historical
romance.
My next
project for 2007 is to work on a Star Trek Romance Novel. If I am lucky I will
get that published before the end of 2007.
Anyway that is
my newest news.
~Karissa~ 2006/5/29 Memorial Day Weekend and UpdatesI made a promise to update everyone about my first Historical Romance that
is set to be published by the end of 2006. I am coming along, I am now on
page 156 of my manuscript. My historical romance will have pictures in which
case I give full faith and credit to all the artists that I am using their
photos from. I am afraid that the publisher will only allow black and white
photos and they are limiting my pictures as well.
It is one of those hot, muggy, humid days in Chicago for Memorial
Day.
Frank and I are getting ready to take our vacation to Atlanta Georgia next
Monday.
We are going to McDonough Georgia into Henry County to see the Musical
Player the "Secret Garden" which I have already seen here in Chicago but I am
going to go see it again up here at the Theatre by the Lake.
Thunderstorms are here in Chicago. I have a few days before I have to start
paying bills, sounds real fun huh?
Anyway I promise to update everyone as often as I can.
Happy Memorial Day.

I call
this picture Lady Mary in Lily's Garden.2006/5/15 A Musical Must SeeProduced by Porchlight Music Theatre At The Theatre Building Chicago 1225 W. Belmont Avenue Chicago, IL Call 773-327-5252, tickets $30 Fridays & Saturdays at 7:45 PM Sundays at 3 PM Saturday matinees begin May 6 at 3 PM Running time is 2 hours, 25 min with intermission Through May 28, 2006 The Secret Garden blossoms with rich vocals Porchlight Music Theatre has assembled another gem of a musical with their marvelously sung The Secret Garden. This highly emotional and thoroughly haunting musical is a three hanky show. This splendid show equals Porchlight’s acclaimed Sweeney Todd and once more demonstrates Walter Stearns’ deft directing talent. He knows how to capture the atmosphere and essence of a large scale musical within the confines of a modest space and small budget. Often less is more and the intimate Theatre Building Chicago stage projects the warmth of the show directly into our hearts.
The Secret Garden is a beautiful show. With wonderful English folk style harmonies and an operetta tone, the atmosphere of gloom and sorrow is projected toward the mysterious powers of the garden of Yorkshire’s Misselthwaite Monor. With an intriguing storyline and compelling characters, The Secret Garden is a warm-hearted, colorful show whose tone ranges from sad and haunting to charming and uplifting. Based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden tells the story of Mary Lennox (Mallory Baysek) a lonely little girl who is sent to live with her uncle Archibald (Michael Aaron Lindner) in Yorkshire after being orphaned by a cholera epidemic in India in 1906. Still grieving over the loss of his beloved wife Lily (Bethany Dawn Lindner) who died ten years earlier during childbirth and distraught over the condition of his bedridden son, Archibald casts a dark shadow over the manor until Mary Lennox discovers a secret garden that had once belonged to Lily. By nursing this garden back to life, Mary somehow restores life to her grieving uncle and his sick son Colin (Drew Mikusha)
These outstanding voices produced haunting melodies that gave the score an almost operatic quality totally overwhelms us. Featuring many outstanding singers, led by Michael Aaron Lindner who landed a powerful “A Bit of Earth,” Marsha Norman’s lyrics and terrific music by Lucy Simon is in excellent hands with this cast. The ensemble harmonies and stunning solos enriched Eugene Dizon’s orchestrations. Luke Mills was charismatic and sparkled as Dickon. His rapport with Mallory Baysek’s Mary Lennox was magic. Baysek and Drew Mikusha, as Colin, were precocious as the two children. The two instantly win our hearts as pure innocence. Jim Sherman’s Ben, the gardener and Angela Ingersoll’s Matha the maid together with Nicholas Foster’s Neville added fine performances with each landing their numbers in clear voice.
Bethnany Dawn
Lindner’s
(Michael’s real life wife) golden voice sent chills with her haunting “Come to
My Garden.” Her duet with Michael, “How Could I Ever Know” brought tears
to our eyes. Luke Mills and Mallory Baysek’s stirring “Wick” and
Angela Ingersoll’s “Hold On” were terrific showstoppers. The Secret Garden is a mysteriously enchanting feel good musical that will leave you tear-eyed and fulfilled. The journey to unlock the secrets of the past through flashbacks, dream sequences with the aid of a strolling chorus of ghosts gave The Secret Garden an enchantment rich in atmosphere and emotional tones that ultimately shows us that we must let go of the past and enjoy the possibilities of life. Hope emerges supreme as Mary Lennox shows us the way. Take the family to see this masterpiece. This is a major show with downtown quality at storefront prices.
